To choose the RAID level for the logical device:
Using the radio buttons, select a RAID level for the logical device. Only the most common choices appear in the list.
To choose a different RAID level, click Advanced settings, then, choose a RAID level from the available options.
In addition to RAID Level-x0, you can also create a simple volume, a spanned volume, or a RAID volume.
Two or more logical devices with the same RAID level, connected end-to-end. See Building a RAID Volume for more information.
Two or more disk drives or with the same or different capacity, connected end-to-end. A spanned volume offers no redundancy or performance advantage over a single drive.
A single disk drive, non-redundant.
When you are ready to continue, click Next.
The Create logical devices window opens.
